Midnight Shadows : Lee Stinchcombe.
Lead Vocals until December 2008.

Born on the 21st January 1981 in Bristol, making me the youngest member of the band by a country mile! Roles within the band are Vocals, Tambourine, being cheeky and winding up Dave Wilkins.

I started singing by mistake, at the age of 10, while in school the teacher was arranging the Christmas play and wanted someone to sing silent night and as I wasn’t paying attention as per normal she picked me.

Not much singing until the age of 16 when I formed a band with school friends called The Photos. Due to artistical differences I left the band after only 2 gigs and went out on my own, I played a couple of gigs during a lunch hour at school mainly singing George Michael covers.

Another big gap of no singing until the age of 20 when I cut a CD of a few covers that lives under lock and key, never to see the light of day!

Then in 2005 now aged 24 I formed my own band The Canes after a couple of line up changes many different musical directions later we finally have a sound that I am proud of.

The highlight of our history is playing with the mighty Wurzels in 2007, they gave us young un’s a run for our money! Top lads

I got invited to audition for the Midnight Shadows via James whom I play football with. I knew as soon as I met the guys that we were going to have a lot of fun, if I got the gig, I did and here I am. Boy these boys can rock!!
My favorite songs played in our set are Keep on Running (Spencer Davis Group), Wonderful Tonight (Eric Clapton) and Unchain my heart (Joe Cocker).
